Where are the keys?

Issue 3 2021 Access Control & Identity Management

Security companies control the access to offices, gates, residential estates and even road closures. Doors need keys, gates need locks. And sometimes a secondary gate has to be opened for emergency services, such as the fire department. But where are the keys?

The initial step to securing any organisation is getting rid of old and outdated technologies. Who wants to carry around a huge bunch of keys? Who keeps the keys? Keys get lost, the locks are replaced and the cycle begins again.

Matrix COSEC is a solution for security companies to assist their customers in covering time and attendance, access control and more industry-based security solutions.

The Matrix COSEC solutions include site controllers, door controllers, readers and accessories, including the palm vein door controller which boasts Fujitsu’s Palm Vein Sensor, minimising hygiene and COVID concerns.

Then, there is the TRAC-Guard Padlock which has countless applications and can be controlled via your mobile phone or the administrative system. Ideal for remote and offline locations, the rugged TRAC-Guard padlock brings mobile access and real-time control to gates, hatches, equipment, lockers or other places a padlock can reach.

The Bluetooth padlock comes ready for stand-alone use and provides all the commercial capabilities of the TRACcess system for your access points. Real-time information means that operations managers can know what is taking place at locking points throughout their operational areas.
