Fidelity ADT has concluded an agreement with National Security & Fire in the Vaal and KZN South Coast areas whereby it will be taking over the monitoring and armed response service contracts in these areas as of 1 April.
Wahl Bartmann, CEO of Fidelity Services Group, says “It has been demonstrated that companies that have a consolidated area footprint are better positioned to provide a quality security service. We believe the integrated, proactive and robust security and guarding service in localised community driven environments such as these will go a long way to mitigating crime in these communities.”
Bartmann says the transition and impact on customers will be seamless with all National Security customers being able to link directly to the Fidelity ADT 24-hour emergency control centre. This may involve a new transmitter being installed, but this will be at no cost to customers. Security emergencies and the reporting of suspicious activity and alarm activations will still be managed by National Security until all transmitters have been aligned.
“We are delighted to welcome these new customers and look forward to delivering professional services to these communities leveraging the combined resources of both companies,” concludes Bartmann.
